We have jumped right into our astronomy and are full speed ahead! In this unit, we will be applying a variety of physics concepts, which we’ve learned throughout this year, into our understanding of space.
Our two goals for this unit are: 1. To identify the objects that make up our solar system. and 2. To understand the relationship between the positions of the Earth, Moon, and Sun.
Within this unit, you will have a NASA presentation of your choice, you will track the moon in its dance across our sky, and you’ll plan out a beach vacation based on the tides!
