Welcome to the final unit of the first semester of 8th grade! So far this year we’ve taken a look at: how genetic information is passed on through generations; the chemical and physical make up of all matter and how matter changes; the various forms of energy and how energy is transferred! Our final unit this semester is weather and climate and we are looking into the difference between weather and climate and how weather impacts our daily lives. You are working to answer the question: “How do humans make decisions based on weather and climate?”
In this final project, we will be learning about the weather and climate of various locations and how humans make decisions based on the current (or general trend) of the state of the atmosphere for various locations.
